I have always been a fan of British Comedy, really right the way back to Monty Python and Benny Hill but recently I have felt a little disappointed with the comedy we are producing. When you have to compete against TV shows like two and a half men and South Park, I see that the task for us Brits isnt exactly easy.
So this is a kind of war cry to British writers: come on you can compete against two and a half men and the likes just up your game a bit and stop producing lame teen comedy shows about beer and sex PLEASE.
